IMPORTANT!!
There are many different brands of computer screens and most have some
sort of colour adjustment so it is unlikely that the colours we have
displayed for our foundations and lipsticks will look exactly the same on
your screen. If you are not prepared to accept slight colour variations
just send an email requesting us to mail to you a small sample.
We are unable to refund for cosmetics.
How to select the perfect foundation colour for your skin?
Foundation should always match your skin colour. Don’t be tempted to
purchase a darker shade because you’d like a tanned look, for example,
as this will result in a rather obvious demarcation line around your jaw.
The same applies for a lighter shade if you desire a porcelain look – as
it just isn’t going to work unless you were born with it!
A general rule of thumb is to firstly decide if you have an olive
undertone to your skin or a pink/beige tinge. We have developed several
shades in each range to suit all skin colours.
You will notice that each of the Foundation names in this catalogue has an
“O” for Olive complexion or “B” for pink/beige complexion to help
you.
To achieve the optimum finish when applying your foundation, we recommend
you do so with a slightly dampened cosmetic sponge.
The secret to hiding those lines is to blend, blend, and blend some more
yet using less!
Avoid using moisturiser around any crow’s feet or fine wrinkles as this
allows your foundation to slip more easily into those nasty little
crevices!
If you find the foundation too dry on your skin try applying a thin
film of moisturiser first.
